Class 025 AFGHAN HOUND Special Yearling (6/5)

1st: Leiper’s Alouann Tart ‘N Rainbows to Joneca Feminine, Black mask gold bitch. Nice feminine head, with correct triangular eye.  Well laid back shoulder, Nicely angulated front and rear. Level topline. Correct tail setting, moved well with a spring in her step Promising youngster

2nd: Robertson/Richardson Khamis Kaleidoscope at Hubblebub Eye catching feminine Domino Blue Brindle bitch. Of different type to 1st. Beautiful head, nice eye, angulated front and rear. would have preferred a little more weight. Slightly unsettled on the move today, very hard and close decision, on another day, could have reversed these placings.

3rd: Gleed’s Khamis Mazaari:

Class 026 AFGHAN HOUND Post Graduate (7/5)

1st: Carlyle’s Birkhall The Whirlwind: Loved this masculine black and silver dog. Stunning, classic afghan head and expression. dark triangle eye. Long neck, into well laid shoulder, well angulated front and rear, moved round the ring effortlessly with reach and drive

2nd: Hunter’s Sulahmara Al-Khayyami: Handsome black masked gold male. Nice head, dark eye, nicely angulated, front and rear, moved well, just preferred the head 1st

3rd: French’s Arkenstone Sarah Mukhlis At Zalmeerah:

Class 027 AFGHAN HOUND Open (12/8)


1st: Harris’s Baltoro Crystal Clear at Portianja: Beautiful, self-masked white bitch, I have long admired, and she did not disappoint on the day. Feminine head, lovely dark eye, long neck, into well laid back shoulders, great front and well angulated rear. Well set ringed tail. Moved round the ring with a style of high order, could watch her move all day. Pleased to have finally go over this girl, delighted to award her best of breed, and watch her take group 3.

2nd: Hodgson’s Kazzlyn jus’ Chillin’: Handsome black masked gold male, with arrogant expression. Great front. Nice angles front and rear. Moved soundly round the ring with reach and drive. Everything to like about this boy. Sadly came up against the winner today. Very hard decision, but was out moved by 1st on the day.

3rd: Leiper’s Chinzaes Sheer Elegance At Joneca:
