Stroller" was an absolute gentleman all his life. He wasn't a glamorous young
dog but he grew from the ugly duckling to the swan. He was a super showdog and
enjoyed being in the ring.
Sired by CH KOOLABA HORNINGSEA EBONI EARL, his dam being Mitzi. He was to be our
first home bred Champion. (I have a very special place for him ) He sired many
Junior Warrant winners, and he sired Shandy and Gambler.
Stroller's first three CC's were from Bill Eccles, Pauline Gibbs and Helen
Barnes at the show he was made up (the East of England Afghan Hound Club show)
Pye were videoing this show, the first time it had been done, so Stroller's
Champion CC is on tape. Common place these days, but this was very early video.
He enjoyed the showring and won his way to the Pedigree Stakes Finals more than
once. He won several more CC's before his retirement.
