'Cotton' Sired by Ranger, and directly related to Gambler on his Mothers side.
Bred by Joe Ashwood and again reared by Derek and myself, she came to us at a
few days old and was to be the last Afghan we would show. Cotton and ourselves
retired from the show ring in 2000. She won several CC's the first three being
from Arthur Hedges, Chris Amoo and Susanne Metcalfe.
Born to show was Cotton, enjoying her time in the ring, she was a pleasure to
have around and got on well with everyone and the other dogs, she had a lovely
manner and oddly enough was the only one of our adult Afghans that loved to play
with a ball.
Cotton was a lovely character, and along with all her other kennel mates before
her will be sadly missed.
