"Mitzi" came into our lives in l972, I had admired her Sire Ch. Khinjan Lorcah
from a young dog, and knew I had to have something that he had sired, and Mitzi
came to us at 9 weeks, Ann and Bob Hattrell lived down in Southsea, and in those
days there were not a lot of motorways, so it was some haul to collect her, I
remember it well, she dribbled all the way home. However that was soon over and
her first three tickets will stay in my mind always.
Ernest Morton, Wally Walker and Fred Severn gave her those CC's to give her her
title., and our first Champion, Ultimately , we decided that she should be mated
and from her first litter when she was mated to Ch. Koolaba Horningsea Eboni
Earl she produced for us Ch. Sharazah Milwalki Stroller.
Like all of our Afghans she was very special, until later in her life she was
the most placid Afghan to have around, but later in life when one of her kennel
mates became a Mum, she showed us just how jealous she could be, and these two
girls never ran together again.
But!! that's an Afghan Bitch she was our first Champion and will never be
forgottten.
