3 CCs 2 RCCs
JOSH . Where to begin? I watched Josh’s dad Lokhander Barbery Bey getting made up and having already fallen for him and made enquiries for a pup, there were several disappointments, until he sired a litter from an Amudarya bitch and I went to look at this big litter of 12, and from this crop Rochander Phaleg came home.
For me he had it all, not only ‘making up’ in the ring, he was lovely to live with, he was ‘THE ONE’. Everyone always says there is always one who is extra special and he was mine! He just hated to be parted from me even for a little while. He gained 3 CCS and two Reserve CCs. The first CC was at SWKA in 1994 under Judge Debbie Peak, his second at Bournemouth in 1996 under Cynthia Pierce and his third and crowning CC was at City Of Birmingham in the same year under P Fillis-Moon, both his Res CCs came from Anna Paton.
Josh was born on the 22nd March 1991 and he was given sleep on the August Bank Holiday weekend in 2003 ages 12 ½ after a second attack of pneumonia which this time did not respond to treatment.
He was affectionately known by friends at shows as Squashy Joshi, simply because he was so cuddly and he loved everyone to fuss him. He has left a huge gap in our home but he lives on in his children and grandchildren.
When Josh gained his crown we put the usual advert in the breed notes thanking the judges and I finished it off with a ‘Mostly Josh thank you for being you’
