It was a very windy day, making the dogs and bitches very touchy at times, also the ground was very uneven, these together made movement difficult. Still I was very pleased with the quality of my entry

DOGS

Minor Puppy Dog 1

1 Livesey and Holden’s Valkor Born to Perform - stood alone, but very worthy winner. Very substantial puppy, beautiful head and eye with a strong neck leading to well placed shoulders. Good depth of chest, sweeping hind quarters, good ringed tail

Puppy Dog 4

1 Pascoe’s Sarakhan Senator - beautiful blk/silver. Good head with pleasing eyes, strong neck leading to superb shoulders, good depth of chest and a strong loin. Good bend of stifle which he used well when moving

2 Dugdale’s Cloudside Match Prince with Truganini - Good overall confirmation well defined outline moved well with good open movement.

3 Grays Sarakhan Sherdan

Junior Dog 9 (!)

1 Sandersons Gezancol Done and Dusted- What a superbly made dog, beautiful head with dark triangular eyes. Strong bone, good lay of shoulders, strong quarters, with a ringed tail. Lovely flowing movement

Special Yearling Dog 3

1 Sanderson’s Gezancol Done and Dusted

2 Fisher’s Ifmaraf Go in Pinstripes at Ambela - Beautiful brindle dog, just my cup of tea, well bodied, good shoulders, strong neck, little longer in loin than 1, paced quite a lot on the move

2 Latimer’s Istani Your Love is King at Zharook - Lovely self masked cream, thought he would be my winner but today he refused to put his all into moving.

3 Griffith’s Krishan Apache Spirit

3 Parker’s Spark in the Dark at Zendushkas

Limit 10 (2)

1 Gilbert & Grant’s Firos Caperdonich JW - Great favourite of mine. Beautiful head with lovely triangular eye. Good layback of shoulder, strong back and loin. Sweeping quarters which he used to his advantage, moved like he really meant it RCC

2 Stenhouse, Bettridge and De Meijer’s - Thuja All in The Game (Imp) JW - Another blk/silver which I have admired. Strong head but well balanced with lovely triangular eyes. Good front assembly, strong back, good tail set. Moved with verve
