ALFIE

Alfie is now rehomed

Alfie is a 3 year old gold dog. He has been handed into a general rescue centre. His owner said he attacked her old dog. Due to this it would be best if he went to a home with no other dogs or cats. They have not tried Alfie with other dogs yet. When he sees them he barks and wags his tail. He has not shown any signs of aggression with people. He is a little timid to start with but soon rolls over on his back for a tickle or pokes with his paw demanding a stroke. He was very underweight but is now ‘eating like a pig’. I understand his coat is a mess. No photo available.

If you can offer him a home please contact me. Shirley 01249 813447 or Shirley@bozwood.demon.co.uk

Freddie

"Freddie is a 3 year old golden boy. He has been castrated ( in April ). He is in his second home, I understand the first move was due to a marriage break up. Freddie used to live on a farm and most of his walks were over the fields so he didn’t see many other dogs. His owner has now moved back to a village and Freddie meets other dogs on his daily walks. He is a big strong dog and is aggressive towards the dogs that he meets. His owner feels that she can no longer cope. Someone else has been to meet him and walk him and Freddie was much better. Two dogs off the lead approached him and he ignored them. He is also better when the husband walks him. It could be that he is being protective towards his owner and also knows that he ‘rules the roost’.

Freddie is not used to small children. He has not shown any sign of aggression towards humans. He seems to enjoy their company. He will need to go to an understanding home where there are no other dogs. He is getting better since his castration so maybe in a few months his hormones will be a lot more settled"

ZAK.

Zak is now rehomed

Zak is in urgent need of his forever home. He is in kennels at the moment, and is used to living in the house. He is 10 years old and a black masked pale gold. His coat has been clipped off and needs a ‘tidy up’ Zak is not used to small children so couldn’t go to a home with them. He has lived with 2 small dogs and also other Affis.

At the moment he is very overweight and needs a sensible diet and exercise. He is going to have a vet check up and due to his age, rescue will cover any large bills he may incur in the future.

Zak is a lovely boy and is not asking for much, a soft bed in a warm house, peace and quiet and someone to love him.

Photo to come.

If you can offer him a home please contact me. Shirley 01249 813447 or Shirley@bozwood.demon.co.uk

TALLY & TIA

These girls are now rehomed

Two girls are in urgent need of a loving home. Tally is 13 years old and gold. She is a little weak on her back legs. Tia is 10 years old and black, she is spayed. They are friendly girls and used to children. They have always lived together in the same home since puppy hood. They must stay together and live in the house. There is a really genuine reason for this re- home request. No photos are available at the moment.

If you can offer them a home please contact me. Shirley 01249 813447 or Shirley@bozwood.demon.co.uk
