Afghan hounds. Puppy (1). 1st. Small’s Cloudside War Of Roses. B/t bitch, balanced skull & foreface, nicely chiselled. Dark eyes giving Eastern and aloof expression. Balanced outline, well developed forechest, deep chest, balanced front & rear angles, level topline, prominent hipbones, excellent length of 2nd thigh, large feet, ringed tail, moved freely with reach & drive. Excellent temperament, condition & well handled..
Sp Yearling (2). 1st. Small’s Metewand Mamabula. Domino bitch. Pleasing square outline, nicely moulded head, minimum stop, dark eyes, head proudly carried on arched, strong neck. Deep chest, level topline, strong short loin, well ribbed, good sweep behind, ringed tail. Movement ok but would like more hock flexion. Well muscled and in super condition.
2nd. Chapman’s Saxonmill Sun Kissed at Sadida. B/t bitch, very elegant. Long chiselled head, strong jaws, beautiful eyes in both colour and shape. Long legs, well laid shoulder, upper arm a tad steep. Strong rear with correct angulation. Ringed tail. Gave her ‘mum’ a hard time on the move; little devil! Super temperament & condition.
Post Grad (5 3). 1st.Hunn’s Andizhan Arcturus. B/m silver male. Very masculine with such proud bearing and arrogance. Looked straight through me with dark, triangular eyes. Front assembly was excellent, with deep chest. Level topline, excellent fallaway & pin bones & with ringed tail. Large feet. Long springy side gait with plenty of drive from rear. A bit close coming & going. Excellent coat condition and well muscled.
2nd. Buttle’s Tolah Time Will Tell. This b/m gold boy gave his mum a hard time; he really is a clown! Long, refined well chiselled head with dark triangular eyes. Elegant & square in outline, well laid back shoulder, upper arm a bit steep, level topline, strong short loin, defined pin bones, ringed tail. Crabs a little coming & going, but once settled his side gait is free and easy. Great temperament & condition.
Open dog (2 1). 1st. Hunn’s Bellapais Kimani Hrhashid. Overall impression was a dog of strength & dignity with proud bearing, and an arrogant expression. Head balanced, strong jaws which could be a little longer, very dark eyes. Deep chest, well balanced front assembly, level topline, prominent pin bones, good rear angulation, large feet, fallaway a touch flat. Moved soundly with proud carriage of head. In good condition.
Open bitch (4 2). 1st.Wyatt & West’s Storm In A Teacup at Bellapais. What a pretty pair these were with heads to die for! No surprise to find later that they are sisters as both share the same qualities. Both had long, feminine heads with long, strong jaws. Beautiful dark, triangular eyes giving aloof expression. Pleasing outlines, long necks flowing into excellent front assembly, deep chest, well ribbed up, strong loins, balanced rear angulations, short rear pasterns, prominent pin bones and ringed tails. 1st moved soundly with long, springy strides. 2nd was a bit reluctant to move and was carrying a touch too much weight
2nd. Wyatt & West’s Ch Arushkhan Thunder Storm From Bellapais. Gold bitch.
