UK Lure Coursing

Lure Coursing events within the UK are organised by the British Sighthound Field Association, with events being held monthly from March to October at Falkland Farm, Newbury, Berkshire. The basic principle behind lure coursing, is to reproduce the natural instinctive pursuit of prey by a sighthound. The results are generally spectacular, particularly when the sighthound in question is our own beloved Affie. Other breeds involved include Whippets, Saluki's, & Basenji's.

The remaining 2006 meetings are scheduled for 18th June, 9 July, 20th August, 10th September, 15th October.
