I suppose I was born into dogs, as mum and dad use to have Pomeranians and Rough collies going to the dog shows in the 50s on their Harley Davison with the dogs in the sidecar, what a sight that would be today, trying to take cages etc!  They stopped showing dogs in 1959 to have us girls but we always had one around mostly the Poms.

I was allowed my own dog when I was 12 and that is were the poodles came along, my first being a white min called Shandy who came everywhere with me but unfortunately was a sheep worrier and dad said she would have to go, she went to live in a town were she could do no damage.

Then along came the Goldies, Amber was my sole mate but at only 3 years old had a massive epileptic fit and died.

At 17 I left home and the German shepherds became my life with all that I bred winning Best In Shows for me but never that green ticket.

After many years in G.S.Ds I decided in 1980s I would love a Afghan Hound, spending many an hour round the Affie rings when showing the shepherds.
At that time with full time work running a animal feed warehouse were we made our own feeds and having 6 G.S.Ds and Yorkies I did not feel I would have the time and commitment the Affie would need.

So for many years I carried on just watching, then in 1991 I had a very complicated operation that left me unable to carry on my work/shop and had to stay at home.
As with a lot of us things went wrong with relationships and I found myself with only 3 G.S.Ds and cutting a very long story short decided time for the Affie I always wanted.

In 1994 Toyah (Istani Good Golly Miss Molly) came to join the Wulfgaar gang and there it all began, after all the years of waiting my dream came true, as the saying goes all good things come to those who wait.
