I have include a good selection so you can see his colour in different light. he can look anything from brownish brindle to almost silver with a dark saddle and tail and a brindle face. He also tends to go darker with brown hinge in winter - but his coat looks silver blue at the root of the hairs. I would say he is blue and silver brindle domino - blue and silver referring to his coat pattern as in black and silver, plus a brindling all over, plus a domino mask. But it is all open to interpretation of course. As they say you know what colour your Afghan was only the day he dies. He is registered blue and brindle - he only had brindle face and legs until 10 weeks old, when he started to go brindle all over the body and the back. On the photo with Susan he is 3 years old and it is taken in very bright sunshine - hence he looks almost totally blue with no brindling or brownish overtones. Masha Shaverneva.
