I was delighted to accept the appointment to judge dogs at
the Afghan Hound Club of Wales. It is five years since I last judged dogs so
all the dogs were new to me, they look so different from outside the ring.
Generally muscle tone was good and dental hygiene has improved dramatically.
My thanks go to the exhibitors for their entries and sportsmanship. Remember
it's only my opinion on the day and from the entry before me. Finally thanks
to Isobell Dyke and her hard working Committee for their hospitality.
The show started with a minutes silence in respect for Peggy Clifford. Peggy
will be sorely missed by all of us.
