2 outstanding brothers headed this class,. 1st: De Haviland’s Alouann: Leather 'N' Lace with Purplequeen. New one to me and a really stunning blk msk gold who caught my eye on entering the ring. Truly lovely head on long neck. Good front assy and depth of chest, correct loin. Prominent hip bones and sweeping rear quarters. Owned the ground he stood on and moved as his construction said he would plus with verve and style. Still only young but pleased to award him RBD and will watch his career with interest.
2nd: Lambert & Link’s: Alouann Fame ‘N’ Fortune. Again an eyecatching blk msk gold.
Have long admired this boy. Very like 1 in construction and splitting hairs in this class
meant I just preferred head of 1. Otherwise very little between these two. Also moved very
well.

Hall’s: Ch Saxonmill Rum Tum Rio JW. This mature blk & brindle is effortlessly Afghan Hound and so well constructed. Lovely balanced head, good length of neck into correct well laid back shoulder with matching upper arm. Excellent depth of chest. Correct length of loin, sweeping rear and finished with a ringed tail. On the move he shows such reach and drive, giving him effortless, floating, movement. Honoured to have judged him
and be able to award him BD and BOB. Pleased to hear he later went Group 1.
2nd: Chadwick’s: Ir Ch Harlextan Makes Majik. Quality blk msk gold who has a lovely head and good length of neck flowing into level topline. Also liked him for return of upper arm, depth of chest and rear angulation. Moved with verve and style, although was a little full of himself in this small ring.

This was a tough class headed by 2 bitches I greatly admire. 1st: Link’s: Alouann Hot N Spicy At Orashan JW. Judged this blk msk gold as a puppy, loved her then and now that she’s matured into such a stylish lady, I love her now too. Looked straight through me on the stack. Impressed for length of neck, well angled front and great length from hip to hock. Presents such a balanced outline stood and, on the move she excels, with wonderful
reachy movement demonstrating excellent lift and drive. Pleased to award her BB and BOS.
2nd: Beanland & Parsell’s: Nightwind No Woman No Cry von Harlextan (imp) Blk msk gold with beautiful head and eye. Good length of neck and level topline. Very good front with excellent depth of chest. Sweeping rear quarters and ringed tail. Really like her movement but just preferred front extension of 1 today. RBB.
