Dogs - Judge: Mr Geoffrey Bastow

I enjoyed my day but there are a couple of points I would like to make. My main concerns were the lack of front angulation combined with corresponding short upper arm and over weight unfit dogs.
As we are in a period of global warming, there is no excuse for not getting the dogs off the couch and out for exercise.

Minor Puppy Dog 6.0
1. Willoughby-Crisp & Dyer: GEZANCOL JACQUES, nice head & eyes, good length of neck into well laid shoulders. Front and rear angulations were balanced resulting in flowing movement with a level top line. Balanced compact puppy that still had all its monkey whiskers
2. Hughes Mr & Mrs: GENZACOL ENRIQUE, litter brother to 1. has same attributes but I preferred the outline of 1
3. Moore Mr : METAWAND MACRAMI AT CLOUDSIDE

Puppy Dog 6.0
1. Oakley & Nielsen Mrs & Miss: ABICA’S LUCKY LEVEN, what can I say, a super puppy that has everything in all departments and can move as you would expect built like it is. Went BPD & BPIS
2. Adams & Davies Mrs G & Mr P: ZANDAHAR TRECLE TOFFEE, lovely head and expression, long neck, well laid shoulder and upper arm, good spring of rib, short loin, correct fall away and tail set, muscled well angulated quarters. A very nice puppy turned out to perfection but I felt did not move with the style of 1 on the day. Both these puppies will make it to the top

Veteran Dog 5.0
1. Latimer Mr & Mrs: INT.CH EXXOS GAME BOY AT ZHAROOK, lovely dog to go over, has good head, neck and shoulders. Excellent front angulation, deep chest with good spring of rib, short coupled, good fall away and rear angulation, moved soundly
2. Shipman Mr & Mrs: BICHOUX ETERNAL STAR, lovely head and expression, good front and rear assemblies. Well balanced dog, immaculately turned out, felt overall conformation not as good as 1.
3. O’Neill Mr & Mrs : AMUDARYA SHADOWKHAN AT TERSTINE

Junior Dog 4.1
1. Churchill Mr & Mrs : TANNIQUE’S BLOWING IN THE WIND, masculine head, good front and rear angulation, deep chest, excellent body condition, very sound mover, has a balanced outline
2. Kirwin P & D: EDRIS EL SHARIAT AT PADAKI, good head & expression, balanced front and rear assemblies, good body condition, not as smooth on the move as 1.
3. Gray Mrs L : SARAKHAN SHERDAN

Yearling Dog 6.0
1. Boydell Mrs M.A.: WARRENOAK WHAT’S IN A NAME, nice dog to go over, well balance, good outline, natural coat pattern, moved well.
2. Busby Mr & Mrs : WILBUS MIDAS, nice head, plenty of foreface, good neck and shoulder, balanced front & rear assemblies, moved well, will take time to fully mature.
3. Hawarden Mrs M : CLOUDSIDE MATCH MASTER OF AMANRHA

Maiden Dog 3.0
1. Oakley & Nielsen Mrs & Miss : ABICA’S LUCKY LEVEN
2. Kirwin P & D : EDRIS EL SHARIAT AT PADAKI
3. Ryall Mr & Mrs : METAWAND MATARAMBI

Novice Dog 5.1

Graduate Dog 3.1
1. Keates Mr & Mrs : SAXONMILL RAEUS, a fine dog throughout but balanced, very houndy, needs to mature
2. Fincham Mr J.R.: MISGAR AZIH AL DOUD, nice head and expression, good angulation & outline but carrying far to much weight.

Post Graduate Dog 12.1
1. Oakley / Garrad / Neitson : FREECLOUD COPENHAGAN nice head and expression, plenty of neck, good shoulder placement and front angulation, deep chest with a good spring of rib, well angulated rear quarters, has good overall muscle tone, moved with a sound smooth action
2. Simpson & Fitzgerald Ms M. & Mr R. NELIAPILAN JAAKKO-KULTA AT TAJIKH, balanced head with dark well shaped eyes giving a good expression, well proportioned throughout, moved well but did not have the style of 1. today
3. Latimer Mr & Mrs : ISTANI YOUR LOVE IS KING AT ZAHROOK

Mid Limit Dog 11.2
1. Bunney Mrs J.M : FIROS TORRAN AT ZADAL, very good head and expression, , well laid shoulder and upper arm, good spring of rib, short loin, correct fall away and tail set, well angulated quarters, correct body weight & muscle condition. Has a tendency to take his handler for a spin.
2. Witham Mr & Mrs : SAXONMILL ROCKET RIDER, excellent head and expression, he is so well constructed and a dream to go over, have admired this dog for a while but today had not the hard condition of 1
3. Kidd Mr & Mrs : FREECLOUD BELLAGGIO

Limit Dog 9.1
1. Bloor & Greenfield : NELIAPILAN PHELEZZI POPPAMIES AT PASHTARI, good head and expression, long neck, excellent front assembly, deep chest and short loin, well angulated rear, balanced outline, in could condition, stylish mover, pleased to award him the RCC
2. Woodward Mrs P. : SAXONMILL SIRIUS, balanced head, dark well shaped eyes giving true expression, well put together, did not move with the style of 1 but still a nice dog.
3. Green & Powell Mrs S & Mr D : SOCHERA’S MERLOT

Open Dog 8.3
1. Garrad & Oakley: METAWAND KILTRAVA TO FREECLOUD, masculine balanced head, dark well shaped eyes giving a penetrating expression, super teeth, well angulated front and rear, elbows tucked in, deep chest with good spring of rib, short loin, correct tail set, in top condition, moved with great style and could have done all day, this won him the day, pleased to award him the CC and I believe his crown.
2. Goff Mr & Mrs: CH GARDWRIGHT ONYA TAILS, good head and expression, excellent to go over, turned out to perfection, a worthy champion, but on the day did not move with the same purpose as 1.
O’Neill Mr & Mrs : CH AMUDARYA SHEKINAH AT TERSTINE
